Prolonged exposure to polluted air can lead to complications like chronic respiratory disease, heart disease and lung cancer. Indoor air can be full of contaminants like dust, pollen and mold spores. The problem can be even more severe during winter when we prefer to keep our doors and windows shut to stay warm. Install low-maintenance and durable materials This year, shift your focus towards materials that are low-maintenance and durable. They will provide you with trouble-free service for a long time because you won’t have to spend time maintaining them. For example, if you need to replace your siding, consider using fiber-cement siding which is weather-proof, exceptionally stable, and resistant to fire, dents, and rot.
